Do you want to quit?
Are you tired of coughing, wheezing and being short of breath? Are you tired of paying for something you don’t need? Are you ready to take control of you life? Are you ready to improve your health? Are you ready to stop smoking for good?
Individual or group smoking cessation counseling is available through Hillcrest Exercise and Lifestyle Programs’ behavior health specialist. Participants attend eight sessions in seven weeks and are guided in their preparation, quitting and maintaining a tobacco free lifestyle.
Please call 918.579.4959 for additional information.
It only takes minutes to experience the benefits of removing tobacco from everyday life. Look what happens after:
20 minutes - Blood pressure, pulse rate and body temperature of hands and feet normalize
8 hours - Carbon monoxide levels drop and oxygen levels in blood increase.
24 hours - Chance of heart attack decreases.
48 hours - Nerve endings start growing and the ability to smell and taste improves
72 hours - Brochial tubes relax, making breathing easier and lung capacity increase
2 weeks to 3 months - Circulation improves, walking becomes easier, lung function increases up to 30 percent.
These are just the benefits that occur while in the program. Schedule your appointment today and discover what more our bodies can do if we let them!
