Visitors

We understand and appreciate the value of having family members present; however, we ask that a maximum of two visitors accompany the patient into the ED treatment area. Visitors are encouraged to remain inside the patient’s room so that doorways and hallways are kept free of traffic. There are easily accessible call bells in every room if a visitor or patient has a question.

There may be times when no visitors are allowed in the examination room. This occurs when critically ill patients are in need of stabilization or for other reasons of privacy.

Telephones are located in each room for the convenience of patients and family members to call local family members. To protect the patient’s privacy and confidentiality, patients should choose a designated family member to call friends or family with any needed information.
