Discharge & Billing

Before being discharged from the ED, you will receive detailed instructions about your medical condition and any follow-up treatment and care. It is important that you understand and follow these instructions. If you have any questions about your medical condition, your treatment, or what you should do after you go home, please ask a nurse or physician.


Following your visit, you may receive several bills. Services rendered may include:

  • Emergency Department services
  • Physician services
  • Radiology services
  • Supplies, special procedures, and/or lab work
