Alexander Burn Center

Located at Hillcrest Medical Center, the Alexander Burn Center was the first burn center in the state and has served as a regional burn center since 1968. The center offers comprehensive burn treatment for minor burns to catastrophic injuries for patients of all ages. The center's 13 bed unit includes a 6-bed intensive care area, as well as a progressive unit, for patients with non-life threatening burns.

Our outpatient treatment, conveniently located in the Alexander Burn Center, allows many burn patients to benefit from the same high quality care and expertise that the professional burn team provides.

The Burn Center's staff is composed of a team of experienced burn physicians and well-trained registered nurses, burn technicians, physical and occupational therapists, chaplain and other professional specialists.
