Pharmacy

The pharmacists at HHS play a critical role in a patient's care and are part of the comprehensive care team.

HMC's and OSUMC pharmacy departments foster relationships with the two Oklahoma-based pharmacy schools, Southwestern Oklahoma State University College of Pharmacy and the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy, and offers internships to students. In addition, HMC and OSUMC pharmacy offers state-of-the-art equipment such as:

• Comprehensive IV admixture including neonatal TPN's, chemotherapy and BAXA compounding machine
• Fully automated Pyxis

HMC also has a Patient Bar Code medication confi rmation process. HHS' pharmacists have flexible scheduling, progressive clinical programs, and the opportunity to mentor students.
